Wondrous Variations Manual, Part 2: 14 classical compositions

The classical xiangqi manual 神妙变化象棋谱 (Wondrous Variations Manual), which dpxq lists in two parts. This part holds the nineteen compositions dpxq lists separately as standalone (独立局); the 55 compositions it lists as the manual proper are Part 1. The source records name neither a compiler nor a printing date. Each chapter starts from the book's diagram, with the book's line as the mainline. Chapter numbers follow the numbers in the titles; where a composition also appears with a corrected diagram, that diagram is a chapter of its own beside it, so the chapter count can differ from the book's own. Names are English renderings of the original titles, with the Chinese kept. Records come from dpxq.com and each chapter says so. Every line was replayed by this site's rules kernel, which proves the moves are legal, not that they match the book: there is a single source, and a line recorded short still replays in full. These compositions are centuries old and long out of copyright.
